Reiki Masters' Update classes to Japanese Reiki:  9th -13th February 2009

Shoden and Okuden update workshop:

Includes historical information on Reiki and how Reiki developed from its spiritual beginnings to a hands-on healing system, Japanese Reiki techniques for healing and enhancing the Reiki channel (Shoden & Okuden), a study of 3 Reiki symbols, Shoden and Okuden empowerments to the Suzuki energy lineage of Usui Teate  and 3 Usui Teate Kotodama, different ways to heal with Reiki, Reiki mudras, intuitive methods of healing, healing meditations, healing with the use of the kotodama, early Usui Reiki Ryoho techniques from the Usui Reiki Ryoho Gakkai, and Usui's crystal healing method.

 Komyo Reiki Shinpiden (Teacher's Degree) for experienced Reiki Masters

The Komyo Reiki workshop contains Rev Hyakuten Inamoto's teachings from 'Komyo Reiki Kai' (Kai meaning 'association') and is almost totally a Japanese style of Reiki. 

(Note that Okuden in Komyo Reiki is the same level as level III/Shinpiden in Gendai Reiki-ho.

Shinpiden then is the teacher level with the title of 'Shihan')

Shoden (beginning) – First Degree

Basic knowledge about Reiki and basic hands-on healing methods and Traditional Reiki techniques

Chuden (middle) - Second Degree

The use and meaning of three ‘shirushi’ (symbols) and their respective ‘Jumon’ (mantras) for purification, protection, emotional and mental healing, for transcending time and space and Traditional Reiki techniques

Okuden (inner) – Third Degree

The use and meaning of the fourth ‘shirushi’ (symbol) and Traditional Reiki techniques. Empowerment to connect to your Higher Self with many blessings, spiritual awakening and an expansion of consciousness. The Reiki energy flow is strengthened

Shinpiden – Teacher’s Degree

How to give Reiju (attunements), the Komyo mudras, Komyo Reiju for Reiki shares, and a translation of the Usui Memorial

Reiju Empowerment workshop

Reiju empowerment methods from Gendai Reiki-ho for self and others, the Hayashi/Tatsumi attunement, Gakkai Reiju, a simple attunement process, and possible Usui method of empowerment

This training is catered for the experienced Reiki Master to update to Japanese Reiki. You will be certified as a Komyo Reiki Shinpiden (Teacher's Degree) and will learn several methods of Reiju empowerments, the Komyo Reiki Kai attunement and an alternative Japanese style attunement. This update training will introduce you to different Reiki energies and alternative ways of using energy to heal self and others. Also techniques for self-healing can be used on a daily basis for yourself and your students.

Reiki I/Shoden

This class is reviewed when taking Reiki Master training

Introduction to Reiki, history of Reiki, the Reiki Concepts/Precepts, 12 western and traditional hand positions, scanning to find the source of disease, meditations & breathing exercises, traditional Reiki techniques and Reiki practice

Reiki II/Okuden

This class is reviewed when taking Reiki Master training

The use of symbols with Reiki for emotional healing, mental healing, karmic healing, distant healing techniques, and Japanese Reiki techniques

Reiki III/Shinpiden

This class is reviewed when taking Reiki Master training

Uses of the Master symbol for healing, meditations for: confidence clarity & grounding, increasing awareness & to manifest goals, the Reiki crystal healing grid, and Japanese Reiki techniques

Reiki Shihan/Kaku (Assistant Teacher)

(This level of Reiki is for students who would like to share the Reiki energy with others but not necessarily take on the full responsibility of a Reiki Master/Shihan)

How to bestow Reiju empowerments on self or others, uses of the Master symbol, the Japanese Reiki techniques at Shoden level, sharing the Japanese Shoden techniques with others, and the Reiki Practice Group

Reiki Master/Shihan

Reiki Master/Shihan training reviews Shoden, Okuden and Shinpiden and includes all manuals for these levels

This workshop is catered to the individual and is scheduled over several weeks of both class participation and home study. 

How to give attunements, Reiju for Reiki shares, how to attune yourself & others at a distance, working with energies, studying various attunement methods, a study of the teachings of Usui and how they developed into the hands-on healing system of Reiki, Reiki myths according to Hiroshi Doi, and the responsibilities of a Reiki Master

 

The Gendai Reiki-ho Levels

The Gendai Reiki-ho workshops contain the information taught by Hiroshi Doi sensei. They contain both western teachings, traditional teachings and Gendai Reiki-ho techniques

Level I/Shoden

Introduction to Reiki, basic healing techniques, self-purifying/self-growth methods, how to use Reiki for level I practitioners and the energy lineage.

Level II/Okuden

How to make your Reiki more powerful and various, symbols and Kotodama (mantra),healing beyond time and space, Western and traditional Japanese healing techniques, self-purifying/self-growth methods and how to use Reiki for level II practitioners.

Level III/Shinpiden

A path to true happiness purifying the mind for spiritual growth, recognizing healing as a practice of love and harmony, spreading universal light to the Earth, uses of the Usui Master symbol, traditional Japanese healing techniques, self-purifying/self-growth methods and the role of a Reiki healer.

Level IV – Gokuikaiden (highest level) –Reiki Master level with the title of 'Shihan’

A guide to Reiki Mastership, how to give attunements, the characteristics of each level and particulars to teach, teachings of Usui sensei , traditional techniques of Reiki Ryoho, Usui’s path to Reiki and the most essential part of Reiki Ryoho.

The Reiju Workshop

The Reiju workshop is an optional workshop for Reiki Masters and contains several variations of empowerments/channel enhancements that can be shared with everyone

Reiju Workshop for Reiki Masters

Gendai Reiju process, Gendai Power Reiju process, Gendai Self Reiju process, the Hayashi/Tatsumi attunements, a simple attunement for any energy (Threshold Reiju), Usui sensei’s empowerment process.
